Pray that you will listen to understand, be open to learning, and live differently as a result of becoming a peacemaker.
Are you ready to join the movement?
Check out our list of great resources to learn more about how to become an effective peacemaker. Join our email list on the right-hand side of this page and follow us on Instagram (@amplifypeace). ***Disclaimer, this WILL disrupt your current worldview like it did ours. Once you’ve seen it, you can’t unsee it.
Join us on one of our immersive encounters, either locally or globally, engaging in historical and modern day narratives for a better understanding of the ways of peacemaking and peace-building. We will prepare you to “see” people, situations, and circumstances through the peacemaking ways of Jesus. We believe peacemaking has to be experienced and we will make it simple for you to engage. Below you will find a list of our upcoming encounters. Make sure to check back regularly for new encounters as we are constantly creating new ones!

Waging Peace in a Hostile World
Surge Women in Leadership 2 Day Conference
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9
We are living in anxious and polarized times. Anger, fear, and language that distances us from each other permeates American culture. Our homes, churches, workplaces, and city are in need of women who press into the hostility around them and with courageous compassion display God’s peace.
Peacemaking isn’t taking a middle road on issues and it is not avoiding difficult topics. Peacemaking is an intentional decision to discern and embody God’s heart in the midst of division and conflict while displaying Jesus to all involved. Join us for Surge’s first conference for women and consider what it means to use the leadership spaces God has given you to be a peacemaker in all areas of your life!

There is a common feeling among much of our Native American population that they have been “unseen” among us. This Immersive Encounter will help us to open our eyes and begin the journey of “seeing”. We believe this is an important part of Amplifying Peace and provides an opportunity to listen to history and stories we have never taken the time to hear before. It will cause a disruption in our hearts as we find we have too often only listened to one side of a story and, as we have found, there can be danger in a single story. This subject is far too important and too vast to limit to a one-day encounter. We have organized this experience for people to go deeply into this encounter, if they wish, or spend just one day gaining insight.
This opportunity will set the background for understanding future encounters. Our speaker will be Kristine Firethunder. She has a unique perspective and one you will not want to miss!

Trip Status: CLOSED
Holy Land Encounter
Join other women leaders from around the globe as we embark on a unique journey of the Holy Land. Expect a “not so typical” trip that ushers in personal and communal transformation, where the history of faith meets a history of conflict.
As influencers, we will learn about issues of power, persecution, politics, and possession that have divided the land in the present day. We will hear from a wide spectrum of voices, across Israeli and Palestinian society, in order to experience the vastly different realities of Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities who call this land ‘home’, and how those differences present both opportunities and obstacles for peacemaking.
We will listen and lean in, even when it’s uncomfortable and especially when we disagree; we will learn beyond sound bites and rhetoric; we will be inspired by those who live amidst conflict everyday and yet still choose to amplify peace; we will be implicated about our own responsibility to address conflict and the unique role we can each play to bring restoration and redemption; and we will build deep relationships and experience the vibrant and joyful cultures of the Holy Land.
